about

After disbanding in 1992, Divine Weeks' original lineup reunited for a visceral one-off show 4/10/04 at The Gig in Los Angeles. Mixing songs from their debut LP "Through & Through" and their follow up, "Never Get Used to It" with live staples like "Idiot Child," "All These People Come & Go" and "Look Book" that never appeared on any record, this visceral hometown gig is a stunning aural attack on the senses proving that the stage was always Divine Weeks' wheelhouse. This matrix mix culled from a soundboard feed and an audience recording tears a page from vintage live Husker Due and early Who. This was the last show by the band's original lineup and last time co-founding member and original bassist George Edmondson played with Divine Weeks.
